Wiyo Air Asia Promotion

Nothing beats being connected to the internet the moment you enter a foreign country. Wiyo and AirAsia are currently having a promotion, which offers a 10% discount for its pocket Wi-Fi rental service for those who book a flight with AirAsia to selected destinations.

Enjoy 10% off a Wiyo rental when you book a flight with AirAsia to Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China and Macau. The normal price is from RM30 a day for Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea; RM35/day for Japan; and RM40 a day for China and Macau – the price depends on whether you opt for 3G or 4G services.

Wiyo AirAsia Promotion Countries

The promotion is available immediately and will run until 30 September 2015. The travel period allowed for this promotion is also available immediately, and is valid until 27 April 2016. To get the discount, just book a flight to one of the mentioned destinations. A promo code voucher will be sent to you via email 3 weeks upon your flight ticket purchase, and you can use the code when you rent a pocket Wi-Fi at www.wiyo.my.

Do note that promotion is only valid for Malaysian guests who are flying with AirAsia or AirAsia X, and must be redeemed on or before 30 September 2015. Wiyo pocket Wi-Fi rental service must be made at least three days (72 hours) before departure and is on a first-come-first-served basis.

Wiyo offers unlimited internet connectivity for countries like Japan, Korea, and Taiwan (3G only), while a limit of 500MB a day applies for Hong Kong, Taiwan (4G), Macau and China.

What can you do with 500MB? According to Wiyo, you can read 1,000 emails, or post 90 social media posts with photos – that should be more than enough. Wiyo comes with a pocket Wi-Fi, which means that you can share your internet with multiple devices.
