Teclast Officially Lands In Malaysia with Dual OS Tablets and More

Teclast TPad X98 Air 3G Dual OS Tablet

True to its promise, Teclast last week has officially announced its arrival in our market. For starters, the company is focusing on three tablets with two of them are pre-installed with two different operating systems – Android and Windows 8.1 – directly from factory.

One of them is the TPad X98 Air 3G which the brand’s flagship model for Malaysia at the moment. Build with a 9.7-inch 2048 x 1536 IGZO-based IPS display, the tablet is powered by a 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z3736F processor alongside 2GB of RAM and 32GB eMMC-based internal storage. With a thickness of 7.4mm, the tablet also carries a 5-megapixels rear camera and 2-megapixels front camera as well as telephony capability.

The second dual-OS table that Teclast has released in Malaysia is the TPad X80h. Unlike the X98 Air 3G, this particular model doesn’t come with 3G or telephony capabilities and is limited to Wi-Fi connectivity. Featuring a smaller 8-inch 1280 x 800 IPS display, the X80h is powered by a 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z3735F which is paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB eMMC-based internal storage.

Last but not least, there is also the TPad P70 3G which is an Android phablet with telephony capability. Comes with a 7-inch 1280 x 800 IPS display, it also features a 1.7GHz MediaTek MT8392 octa-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB eMMC-based internal storage. Its camera setup are rather basic though with 2-megapixels sensor on its rear and 0.3-megapixels on the front.

In term of pricing, these tablet are available immediately for RM 899, RM 599, and RM 399 respectively and inclusive of GST.
