11Street, an e-commerce site based in South Korea, has officially launched its online marketplace in Malaysia. First started in 2008, 11Street eventually expanded to Indonesia and Turkey, where it is known as elevenia and n11 respectively.
According to 11street, it is the first e-commerce site to introduce a section that the company dubs “Shocking Deals”, which guarantees that every item sold in the category is offered at its lowest price, which is an interesting claim to make.
On top of that, 11street assures its customers that all products sold on its site are authentic as the e-commerce site has “additional product verification layers” in place. This should ensure that all users, especially the ones who are new to online shopping, will not be a victim of fraud.
At the launch event, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Cho Byungjae, was present. 11street also introduced its brand ambassadors, the hugely popular South Korean actor Lee Min Ho and our very own local actress, Emily Chan.
If you’re keen to find out what 11street has to offer, you can check out its site over here. While 11street is only one of the many other e-commerce sites in Malaysia, more choices for consumers is always a good thing.
