If you’re a LINE user, you’ll be happy to know that the popular messaging app has a new reward system for its users. Whenever you send one message to a friend, you will receive one Friendship Point. Once you have accumulated as many as 1,000 points, you can transfer it to your BCard for an equivalent of RM10.
That is basically how LINE Mileage works. Once the points are transferred to your BCard, you can redeem the points from participating outlets, which include Chatime, Starbucks, 7-Eleven, and even Caltex. You can refer here for the full list of BCard merchant partners.
However, in order to transfer the friendship points into BCard points, you would have to collect at least 1,000 points before you can do so. On top of that, there is also a limit on how many Friendship Points you can earn in a day, although LINE did not explicitly reveal the limit. New users who start using LINE until the 26th of April 2015 will receive 300 Friendship Points to get them started. Existing users, however, will not be eligible for this. You can begin using LINE by downloading the respective app for Android, iOS, Windows Phone, and even BlackBerry.
