Xiaomi will finally start selling the black version of the Mi Note, which will be a limited edition device that is bundled with an album from popular Chinese celebrity, Jason Zhang (张杰).
So far, Xiaomi has only released the standard white version of the Mi Note. However, the black variant of the device has finally made its debut – with a catch. There are only 30,000 sets of the all-black Mi Note available for sale and it will only be released in China. The package includes the limited edition black Mi Note, Jason Zhang’s latest CD album box-set, a special 140-page photobook and of course a nicely designed gold-black décor box.
The limited black edition Mi Note will cost 2,499 Yuan (about RM1,466) which is 200 Yuan (about RM117) more than the standard white edition. The device is expected to go on pre-order during Xiaomi’s usual open sale next Tuesday, 21 April 2015 and will be a China-exclusive.
It seems that the Chinese companies are targeting music lovers lately with the likes of the recent Xiaomi Mi Headphones and Meizu’s special headphones in collaboration with Beyerdynamic.
