Digi Now Offering the Samsung Galaxy A5 From RM229

Digi Samsung Galaxy A5

If you do not wish to pay thousands of Ringgit for a smartphone, you can now get the mid-range Samsung Galaxy A5 from Digi from as low as RM229. The device is available with Digi’s latest postpaid plans that were refreshed just last week.

The Samsung Galaxy A5 retails at RM1,199, but if you sign up for a 24 months contract under one of the new SmartPlan postpaid plans – SmartPlan 78/108/148, you can get it from as low as RM229 – that’s RM970 off the original price.

Digi Samsung Galaxy A5 plans

The Samsung Galaxy A5 is a mid-range Android smartphone targeted at the younger generations. Announced in October, the device finally arrived at our shores in January 2015, along with the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A7.

It features a 5” 720p Super AMOLED display and is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage (up to 64GB via microSD). The LTE-enabled handset features a 13MP rear camera, 5MP front shooter, has 2,300mAh non-removable battery on board, and runs on Android 4.4 out of the box.
