A projector would not be the first to come in mind when Lenovo launches a new product, let alone a pico-sized one. Lenovo’s Pocket Projector is capable of projecting displays up to 110-inch, rotating to a 90 degree angle, and features dual speakers.

The dimension of the projector is 104mm (w) x 25mm (h) x 100mm with the weight coming in at 170g. It can display a resolution of 854 x 480 with a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and to power the device, it has a battery that can last for 2.5 hours on a single charge, providing at least one and a half hour of movie time with enough power to spare. It also supports 32GB microSD cards should users want to expand or store more content in the projector.

Users could connect to the projector wirelessly via DLNA or Mircast, to enjoy their multimedia content on a larger surface. If users are not into wireless or do not have a device that can support DLNA or Miracast, they can still connect their Android or Windows Phone device to the projector by simply plugging in the microUSB cable, or their iPhone via a lightning cable.

Lenovo’s Pocket Projector will be available worldwide starting as early as March 2015 with a price tag of $199 (about RM722) Would Malaysians be interested in a product of this category for this price range?
