The Major All Stars Dota 2 Tournament has begun with its SEA qualifiers starting off last night. Several prominent teams have made their way through to the next round and there seems to be a number of newcomers that might have a chance at making the cut.
Notable teams in the SEA qualifiers are Phillippines’ GIGABYTE Mineski; Singapore’s Insidiousidol; Australia’s Can’t Say Wips (featuring former Team Orange player Xtinct), Korea’s Pokerface and Malaysia’s Team Redemption and G Guard Esports (with Xtinct’s former comrades KyXy and Net).
The tournament looks to be well on its way , although a cursory glance at the bracket seeding shows that most of the top teams are grouped up in the same bracket. It may not be the best arrangement but at least it gives the other teams a better chance at progressing. Regardless, round two of the qualifiers continues 8pm tonight and viewers can catch the action on twitch.tv.
