Xiaomi Singapore recently announced that they have to increase the price of its power bank and delivery charges in Singapore, no thanks to the rise of cost.
Starting at 12am, 23 January 2015, the 10400mAh Mi Power Bank will increase SG$5 from SG$13.99 to SG$18.99. As for delivery charges, for orders below SG$50, the delivery charges will go from SG$5 to SG$6.99.
Together with the price revision, Xiaomi Singapore says that they will also be increasing the maximum order quantity per order – Redmi Note 4G and Mi Power Banks (maximum 5 each), Mi Band (maximum 2 each), all other accessories (maximum 10 each), so it is easier for buyers to hit the minimum order of SG$50 to enjoy free delivery.
It’s not all bad news though, on the same day, Redmi Note 4G and all other accessories (including the 10400mAh and 16000mAh Power Banks) will go on open sale. This means that the lucky folks in Singapore will no longer have to wait for a flash sale to purchase Xiaomi products – as long as there’s stock, you can purchase a power bank, Mi Band, Redmi Note 4G and everything else anytime you want.
