Remember Flappy Bird, the wildly frustrating and oddly successful mobile game? Even though it is no longer available for download from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, a company by the name of Bay Tek Games has now made an arcade version of the most frustratingly addictive game ever made.
Bay Tek seems to have acquired the license from developer Dong Nyugen to produce the arcade version of the game. The machine has a huge 42-inch display and a single red button to control the bird as it flies across the screen.
The game seems to have a little bit of graphical change as well. As players advance further into the game, the bird will first gain a top hat before eventually receiving a crown as the bird glows yellow. Now that players will have to actually press a button and not tap on the screen to control the bird, it could be harder to achieve a higher score.
A quick check on the Flappy Bird arcade machine’s official product page on Bay Tek Game’s website shows that interested parties from Malaysia can inquire about the product. Don’t be surprised if you start seeing this little bird at your local arcade store.
