Sick of all the smartphones that have flooded the market? Or just looking for a good, no-nonsense backup phone just in case your daily driver is out of juice? Then the new Nokia 105 is right up your alley. Priced at a mere US$20 (about RM75), this feature phone is the direct successor to the original Nokia 105 that was unveiled back in 2013.

At that price, the 2015 Nokia 105 offers a slew of useful features. These include the ability to store up to 2,000 contacts, 15 hours of talk time, and a very long 35-day standby time. While these are not anywhere near the level of features that a smartphone can offer, it is an RM75 phone.

Unlike the 2013 model, the new Nokia 105 now comes equipped with dual-SIM support. Of course, a feature phone won’t be complete without some “classic” games. The 105 will come preinstalled with Snake Xenzia and Bubble Bash 2.

Other specifications of the Nokia 105 are a 1.45-inch colour display, a 800mAh battery, FM radio support (remember how this was such a big deal back in the day?) and of course, it comes equipped with a torchlight as well.

The Nokia 105 will start rolling out globally to select markets from this month onward in three choices of colour: white, black, and cyan. Seeing how the Internet-ready Nokia 215 is now available in Malaysia, this very affordable feature phone might make it here as well.
