Managing your Maxis accounts has just gotten a whole lot easier as the telco launches a new MyMaxis app. Manage your account information, view and download your bills, make payments, purchase value added services and discover rewards near you using a simple and easy to use app.
Not to be confused with the old MyMaxis app, this is a brand new version with a new and simple design, and has more features on board. It can be downloaded from the Play Store and App Store, and available for Maxis users who have an account at www.maxis.com.my. Once signed in, you can keep track of your account information, billing information and most useful of all, mobile internet usage all in a single place. Should you need to, you can also make payments (using Maxis Pay or a debit/credit card), or purchase additional mobile data.
The app is available for all postpaid mobile, wireless broadband, and corporate individual subscribers. Hotlink users can enjoy a similar app on the Hotlink Red app. It shows you your account information in a single place. If you have multiple accounts with Maxis, you’ll need to pick a primary one though, that can easily be changed so you can switch around and monitor your usage easily.
The most useful part, especially for today’s users who are more focused on data plans, would definitely be the ability to track your data usage. The MyMaxis app will show you your data usage, how much data you have left, and how long more to go before it gets refreshed. Should you need to, you can also purchase additional data with a tap of a button – there are a lot of data add-ons to pick from with different packages for different users, so having them all listed out in an app is definitely a very useful tool.
Additionally, you can view and pay your bills using MyMaxis. The app also allows you to download your older bills so you can check your usage, and see the past billing information to make sure everything is in order. MyMaxis accepts Maxis Pay, as well as credit card payment.
