Can’t get enough of budget Android smartphones in Malaysia? Say hello to a new player called Leagoo. Leagoo is the latest Chinese smartphone manufacturer to land in Malaysia and they have just launched a mid-range Android smartphone that retails at only RM399 – the Leagoo Lead 5 that features a 5” IPS display, a quad-core processor, and a slim aluminium frame that measures at only 7.9mm thin.

Launched just few days ago, the Lead 5 is a sleek Android smartphone that packs mid-range specs for a very affordable price of RM399. It features a large 5” IPS FWVGA display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels.

On the insides, it’s powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable storage. Other specs include dual-SIM support, 5MP rear camera, 3MP front camera, 2800mAh battery, and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box with Leagoo’s own software that features gesture controls and more.
