The NZXT H440 Razer Edition is a mid tower case that Malaysians will be able to purchase come December. Identical to the NZXT H440, the Razer edition will don the gaming peripheral company’s signature colour scheme of green and black as well as a number of cosmetic changes.
The mid tower case will feature an ODD-free front panel constructed entirely out of steel with a matte black finish and bears the iconic tri-headed snake logo. The case also features a transparent full-window view on the left side of the case.
It wouldn’t be Razer if there was no visual flair of sorts for their products. In terms of aesthetics, the case will feature Razer’s bold green colourway on almost every one of its input and output ports which include two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports as well as audio and mic ports.
Users whose components often operate at high temperatures need not worry as the casing comes with ample amount of support for fans. Right out of the box, the case comes with four fans in total, three in the front and one towards the back. However, users also have the option to outfit the case with a total of 11 fans.
In terms of storage, a total of 14 hard disk drive bays are supported: six internal 3.5” disk drives and eight internal 2.5” disk drives to be exact. The case will also support up to seven PCI expansion slots.
The NZXT case will be made available in the Malaysian market in December, though the official retail price has not been revealed. Users can also opt to preorder the NZXT H440 by Razer from the NZXT Armory Store for a price of USD149 (about RM500) or from Dotatech IT Enterprise, which will be carrying the case.
