Lenovo Malaysia has unveiled its latest range of multi-mode devices for the Malaysian market. Four new devices were announced today, including the country’s first Intel Core M-powered device , the Yoga 3 Pro, and the world’s first tablet with an integrated projector, the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro.

The new devices, which will be available towards the end of the month, are yet another step from the world’s largest PC vendor in producing the best hybrid laptops and tablets in the market. The latest-generation Yoga devices are now even more feature-packed, while encased in ever-slimmer and lighter designs. Take the new Yoga 3 Pro, for example. At just 12.8mm thin and weighing only 1.19kg, this stunning laptop is so thin, it looks as if Lenovo had to increase the thickness of the bottom portion of the laptop to accommodate the USB ports.

The Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro is Malaysia’ first Intel Core M product, powered by the Core M 5Y70 dual-core 1.1GHz (Turbo Boost up to 2.6GHz) processor with up to 8GB of RAM. This Windows 8.1-running convertible also features an integrated Intel HD Graphics 5300 GPU, which renders graphics on the beautiful and amazingly thin 13.3-inch 3200 x 1800 touch display. On top of that, the Yoga 3 Pro offers storage options of up to 512GB SSD, and even has space for dual JBL speakers with Waves Audio certification. Finally, the Yoga 3 Pro has two USB 3.0 ports, mini-HDMI, and an audio jack.

On the other hand, it appears Ashton Kutcher has been busy with Lenovo too. According to the company, shortly after he joined as a Product Engineer, Kutcher played a big role in designing the new Yoga Tablet 2 Pro, a large 13.3-inch tablet with Lenovo’s signature integrated stand design. The international superstar (and presumably Lenovo) took lots of feedback from the first-generation Yoga Tablet and made plenty of changes, culminating in what may be the most feature-packed Android tablet yet.

The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro is powered by an Intel Atom Z3745 1.33GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. This massive tablet also packs a large 13.3-inch 2560 x 1440 IPS display, as well as notebook-grade 1.5W stereo speakers and a massive 5W subwoofer for immersive media consumption. There’s 32GB of built-in storage, and the microSD card slot supports up to 64GB cards. This Android 4.4-running device even packs a massive 9600mAh non-removable battery that’s rated for up to 15 hours of usage.

Not to forget, there’s also the integrated pico projector on the side of the tablet that is capable of up to 3 hours of continuous playback. The Yoga Tablet 2 Pro also features an 8MP rear and 1.6MP front camera, and also supports LTE and WiFi out of the box. Also, on top of the three “modes” in which the tablet can be used (Hold, Tilt, and Hang) the integrated kickstand now has a square hole that lets you Hang the tablet on a wall. Every purchase of the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro also comes with a free case, screen protector and JBL earphones.

In addition, Lenovo also unveiled two more affordable Yoga Tablet 2 models, the Yoga Tablet 2 and the Yoga Tablet 2 with Windows. The Yoga Tablet 2 is an 8-inch Android 4.4-running tablet, powered by a similar Intel Atom Z3745 processor as the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro. There’s 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (expandable by an additional 64GB via microSD), 8-inch Full HD IPS display, 8MP rear and 1.6MP front cameras, and a 6400mAh battery that’s rated for up to 18 hours of continuous use. This tablet also supports 4G LTE and can even make voice calls. Every purchase of the Yoga Tablet 2 will come with a free folio case and a screen protector.

As for the Yoga Tablet 2 with Windows, it is a slightly larger version of the Yoga Tablet 2, packing virtually the same internal hardware: Intel Atom Z3745 CPU, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage (expandable by an additional 64GB via microSD), 10.1-inch Full HD IPS display, 8MP rear and 1.6MP front cameras, LTE connectivity and a 9600mAh battery that lasts up to 15 hours of use. Unlike the Android-running tablets, this variant will run on Windows 8.1. Just like the Yoga Tablet 2, each purchase of the Yoga Tablet 2 with Windows is entitled to a free folio case, screen protector as well as a Bluetooth keyboard.

All four products unveiled today will be available later this month, and will come with 1 year standard warranty. The retail prices and colour options of the new products are as follows:

  • Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro: RM4999; colours: Clementine Orange, Champagne Gold, Platinum
  • Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro: RM1999; colours: Platinum
  • Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2: RM1099, colours: Platinum
  • Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 with Windows: RM1599; colours: Ebony
