It looks like DiGi has just added a new device to its phone bundles, allowing you to own the Lenovo A536, a budget Android smartphone from the Chinese company, for free. A contract applies of course, but you don’t have to sign up for the most expensive postpaid plan, DiGi is offering the device from as low a RM78 a month.
All you need to do is sign up for a 24 months contract under DG SmartPlan 78, and the Lenovo A536 can be yours for “free”. If you require more internet or voice calls, the telco is also offering the A536 with its other postpaid plans namely the DiGi SmartPlan 108 and SmartPlan 48. As with all telco bundles, you are subjected to an advance and upfront payment when you sign up for the offer.
The Lenovo A536 is one of the latest budget Android smartphone from Lenovo. It features a 5” display with a resolution of 480 x 854, offering 196ppi pixel density. Powered by quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor clocked at 1.3GHz, it 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable storage on board. Other specs include 5MP rear camera, 2MP fixed-focus front camera, 2000mAh removable battery, dual SIM, 3G connectivity, and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
