Apple’s next event is scheduled for 16 October 2014 (or early 17 October Malaysian time), and it looks like the company will be giving its iTunes Store a makeover. Apple recently began rolling out a redesigned iTunes for users trying out iTunes 12 beta.
The new iTunes will have a complete design makeover, giving it a flatter look that is inline with iTunes and App Store home pages on iOS devices. Gone are the shadows, reflections and such, there is now a side-scrolling carousel at the top of the iTunes store, with flat albums and such right below.
As reported by 9to5mac, individual pages for albums, TV shows, and iOS paps have also been redesigned with more iOS-like controls. As with the iTunes store, shadows and textures have all been removed, with contents placed directly on stark white or dark gray background.
