ADATA Launches XPG V3 DDR3 Gaming Memory

Adata XPG v3

Adata has launched the most recent version of it XPG line of high performance RAM. The XPG V3 DDR3 memory is designed for overclocking and runs at 3100MHz to get the most out of the hardware. Also included are the removable heat sinks, mainly for aesthetics and modders who want to change the colour of their internals.

With a transfer bandwidth reaching 24.8GB/s, the XPG V3 series also supports Intel’s Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) version 1.3; which will allow users to either run Intel’s own predefined overlocked profiles for the RAM, or even mess around with settings and see just how much performance can be squeezed out before the hardware stops working.

Adata XPG V3 Package

Overclocking tends to cause a large amount of heat, which is why Adata has fitted the new series with Thermal Conductive Technology that allows for increased contact with the heat sinks. This is achieved through 8-layer PCBs with 2oz copper inner layers. In theory this should also reduce electromagnetic interference to provide for better benchmarks.

Adata’s XPG V3 series of RAM is only available through its online retailers in Malaysia, and those interested should refer to the official website for more information. The is no information about pricing at this time.
