More and more OEMs are beginning to join in the smartwatch frenzy, and if you’re a competitive smartwatch manufacturer, you’re going to want to create a compelling design to stand out from the bunch. On that note, Asus looks ready to bring a new watch face design of their smartwatch with an oval, if not symmetrical display screen with rounded corners.
We’re not talking about a rounded watch face such as the Moto 360, nor the upcoming LG G Watch R. The teaser shows us different angles of design sketches of Asus’ smartwatch and would probably boast a curved screen. The company also retained the tagline, “Time has been transformed, and we have changed” from a previous teaser of the device.
Apparently we wouldn’t know if the smartwatch would run Android Wear until it launches at IFA 2014 in Berlin, 3rd of September as stated in the banner.
