The Reebok One Challenge returns later this year, to be held in Putrajaya on September 14. One of the year’s toughest races, this year’s challenge will feature again be a test on both your physical ability as well as your mental strength, featuring a mix of long-distance running as well as obstacle courses. It is likely that whatever that you go through physically and mentally come race day isn’t possible to be replicated, but the brave men at Reebok Malaysia have released a video demonstrating a simulation of the race.
The fifteen-minute video aims to demonstrate to the 3000 participants what they can expect to face during the One Challenge 2014. The fifteen obstacle courses only start from the 6km mark, and the challenges come thick and fast from that point onwards. Expect to face the usual obstacles such as hill runs, ant hills, and wall climbs. Those who cannot (or do not want to) complete the challenge will be required to perform 20 burpees as a penalty.
The participants of the Reebok One Challenge would be competing for a total prize package of RM64,000, including cash prizes of RM 5,600. Finishers will also walk away with a finisher tee, a medal, and the knowledge that they have just conquered the Reebok One Challenge.
