Huawei’s latest flagship Android smartphone, the Ascend P7, is launching in Malaysia next week, but it is now available for pre-order at Storekini.com. The Ascend P7, which will carry a retail price of RM1499, is on offer at Storekini for a pre-order price of RM1388.
The Huawei Ascend P7 was only officially announced last month. Carrying over the same refined sleekness from the Ascend P6, the Ascend P7 sports a 5-inch Full HD INCELL display and is powered by Huawei’s own HiSilicon Kirin 910T 1.8GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of non-expandable storage. At the back, the P7 packs a 13MP f/2.0 BSI Sony sensor with five-element lens. In front, there’s a huge f/2.4 8MP front-facing camera with five-element lens, complete with a Panorama Selfie mode that Huawei says is perfect for capturing “groufies”. Keeping the Ascend P7 running is a non-removable 2500mAh battery.
In addition, the LTE-enabled Ascend P7 also packs dual antennas which increases signal reception. On top of that, the Ascend P7 features a very interesting cooling solution, using thermal gel to keep the device’s temperatures low.
What’s more amazing is the fact that this device is amazingly thin and light, coming in at only 124g and measuring only 6.5mm thick.
With its Malaysian launch scheduled for June 10, those who pre-order via Storekini will actually get their original Ascend P7 as early as next Monday as Storekini notes that it expects to receive stocks this weekend – on top of a discount of over RM100 off the RM1499 retail price.
