Sony’s latest flagship smartphone, the Xperia Z2, is now officially on sale today. After some hiccups with hidden links to its online web store, the device is now ready for sale at RM2399, with freebies worth more than RM700 in tow with each purchase.
Announced back at MWC 2014 in February, the Xperia Z2 is the finest Android smartphone Sony Mobile has crafted to date, and matches its other flagship rivals in terms of hardware. There’s a Snapdragon 801 2.3GHz quad-core processor with 3GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, a larger 5.2-inch Full HD Triluminos display with new Live Color LED technology, and the same 20.7MP Exmor RS for Mobile camera sensor which now records in 4K resolution. For a detailed comparison between the Xperia Z2 against the other flagship Android smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy S5, HTC One M8, Oppo Find 7 and several others, check out our mega comparison table here.
As with other Xperia smartphone purchases before this, each purchase of the Xperia Z2 will come with freebies worth over RM700. Each purchase of the Xperia Z2 at Sony Outlet stores will come with the Magnetic Charging Dock DK36 and the Xperia Transfer Cable EC310. On top of that, there are other software bundles available via the Xperia Lounge app, including an “experience pack” as well as Michael Jackson’s upcoming album “Xscape”.
The Sony Xperia Z2 is also available for purchase from Storekini, where customers will not only receive the same freebies worth RM700 offered here, but Storekini will also bundle in an additional RM100 worth of freebies, including a screen protector, casing, power bank and an instant cash rebate! Visit Storekini’s product page for the Xperia Z2 for more information.
