At the local launch of the new Samsung Galaxy S5, Gear 2 and Gear Fit in Malaysia, Samsung also shared some information about its new wearables and its compatibility with existing and upcoming Galaxy devices.

As can be seen from the table above, the new Gear 2 and Gear Fit is compatible with virtually every recent Galaxy smartphone and tablet, from the new Galaxy S5 all the way to the Galaxy S3.
More interesting is this little nugget of information contained near the end of the table: the Gear 2 and Gear Fit will be compatible with future products coming in to Malaysia, namely the Galaxy TabPRO 8.4, Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 and 7.0.
Hold on. Galaxy Tab 4? Yup, it looks like we have confirmation that Samsung will be releasing a Galaxy Tab 4 in two sizes later this year.
