You’ve watched the Android Wear concept video, seen the beautiful, round, timeless device strapped onto the wrist of one of the men in the video. Immediately, one would think that it’s a concept video, and hence, it’s not a real device.
But it is. This is the Motorola Moto 360, and it’s perhaps the most beautiful smartwatch ever made…so far.
As it turns out, it’s actually pretty complicated to design a round-shaped smartwatch. But this was a decision Motorola made early on in the Moto 360’s development, and as a result, almost all of the core components in the Moto 360 are brand new, bespoke components made to fit into the design vision. This timeless design will also come in both metal and leather straps, both of which are also carefully crafted to make a watch that “begs to be worn”.
At this point, not much else has been shared about the Moto 360 besides the fact that it’s running on Android Wear, so we’ll leave you with screengrabs of arguably the most desirable smartwatch to date. For more images, head on to the official Moto 360 promo page.
