Remember the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor that was announced in November last year? Well, you’ve read about its goodness in text like how it’s much more powerful than before with the ability to deliver Ultra HD experience on mobile devices and Ultra HD TVs, now, Qualcomm wants to show you some of the other amazing things its latest mobile processor can do. The company recently released several videos showing off some neat camera and pen tricks made possible by its Snapdragon 805 chipset – OptiZoom, Chroma Flash, Action Shot and Ultra Sound NotePad.
OptiZoom is a feature that will allow you to track a certain object in the frame and automatically zoom in and out of the object as it moves:
Chroma Flash is similar to HDR where two images are captured at a single time and then stitched together to give you a more beautiful picture, except instead of capturing at two different exposures, Chroma Flash captures one picture with flash and another without so it can give you the brightness you need along with the natural color tone of a picture without flash:

Action Shot (Touch to Track)
Snapdragon 805 can also allow users to touch an object they wish to track and the camera’s focus will be locked on the object, giving perfect focus and exposure at all time. There is also an additional feature that allows users to set a line that when the object crosses that line, it’ll start capturing videos automatically, great for action shots.
Ultra Sound NotePad
Finally last but not least, Ultra Sound NotePad is a technology that converts pen’s ultrasonic vibration into on-screen writing. This means that you can still draw and color on a piece of paper like normal, and it will translate your drawings onto the mobile device:
Alright, any of you as excited as I am to see the implementation of these features into a consumer device?
