The Plot Thickens: Satoshi Nakamoto Says He’s Not The Bitcoin Creator That You Looking For

Dorian Prentice Satoshi Nakamoto

Last night, Newsweek published a rather interesting article which claims that it has able to locate and identify the actual person that is responsible for the birth of Bitcoin. According to the article, Satoshi Nakamoto is indeed the creator’s real name (his full name is Dorian Prentice Satoshi Nakamoto though) and is a 64-years old Japanese-American engineer that lives in California.

After Newsweek’s article went live and viral throughout the globe, it led to an immediate media frenzy with journalists starting to camp in front of his home in pursuit for further clarification. He eventually came out of his home and grabbed a journalist from Associated Press to tell his side of the story.

In the interview with AP, Nakamoto claimed that he has never heard of Bitcoin before until his son informed him that he has been approached by the Newsweek reporter, Leah McGrath Goodman, regarding the subject. Nakamoto further stated that Goodman has misquoted him regarding his actual association with Bitcoin and he was never involved with the popular digital currency in the first place.

That being said, Nakamoto has also pointed out that many of the facts in the article are accurate such as his background and engineering career which includes classified military projects. Meanwhile, Goodman stands by her article and stated that there was no confusion what so ever regarding Nakamoto’s conversation with her.

Well then, looks like the search for the real Satoshi Nakamoto is back to square one. That is unless you really believe that Dorian Prentice Satoshi Nakamoto of California is indeed the creator of Bitcoin.
