The third of its kind since Sony Mobile (then known as Sony Ericsson) released their first Bluetooth watch back on 2007, the company today has unveiled the brand new Sony SmartWatch 2 alongside the equally new Xperia Z Ultra at Shanghai just few hours ago. According to Sony, SmartWatch 2 brings together improved performance, intuitive interface and standalone capability.
Made from aluminium and high polished plastics, the splash-proof Sony SmartWatch 2 is equipped with a 1.6-inch 220×176 transflective LCD display and features a new Android-like interface. It also built with Bluetooth 3.0 and Near Field Communications (NFC) connectivity for pairing purposes.
