Rumor: HTC to Show Off 12 Devices, Including an Ubuntu Tablet in Event

It’s tonight folks, the HTC event that we’ve been waiting for will be happening at about 11pm local time, so what can we look forward to besides the rumored MTC M7 aka HTC One that packs the latest and greatest hardware on board? According to a leaked image on 9to5Google, it looks like HTC has got about 12 devices up to unveil, including a tablet that is rumored to be running on Ubuntu’s brand new mobile operating system.

The image shows 12 devices covered in individual cloth and one of them appears to take shape of a 10” tablet. Yesterday, Ubuntu started a teaser on its website with the tagline “Tick, tock, tablet time!” along with a timer that is set to go off at the same time as HTC’s event, coincidence? We think not.

The event will be happening in approximately 13 hours (thanks Ubuntu countdown timer) so stay tuned as we keep you updated. Just to keep the excitement up, the HTC One is expected to pack some pretty amazing stuff under its hood. The company has been Tweeting some teaser for the device that hints at a great display, amazing camera and even a stereo that is good enough to boast about. Hit the break for more images.
