You don’t have to sell your kidney or any other body parts just to own a high-spec phone, ZTE is rumored to be working on a very affordable 5” quad-core smartphone – the ZTE U956 – that should be priced at around 1,499yuan; that’s about USD$240 or RM730.
The 5” phablet from ZTE shown in the image above, is rumored to come with a 720 x 1,280 display with an 8MP camera fitted at the back, and will be shipped with Android 4.1.2 out of the box. On the inside, it’ll be powered by a MediaTek MT6589 chipset and will support GSM bands.
Unfortunately, no further information have been revealed like the pricing or release date but hey, at least we can have a glimpse of how the device looks like.
