Disney has finally announced the first Star Wars game since acquiring Lucasfilm back in 2012. The new game is a space combat action simulator. Players will be able to fly a variety of spacecraft in battles against one another, replaying some of the most exciting battles across the Star Wars universe.
The game will feature 16 player free-for-all matches, team battles, and even a base defence mode. Developers Area52 have also promised the option to customise ship loadouts as well as personalisation options. If anything it looks to be a space opera variation of modern MMO simulator.
Registration of the Beta has begun and interested individuals can sign up at the official website.
