After causing a storm in the gaming community with more than 13 million sales to date on PC/Mac as well as 10 million copies on Xbox 360, Minecraft will be coming to PlayStation 3 very soon. According to the announcement on both PlayStation US and Europe’s blog, the popular indie game will be released for the console via PlayStation Network on December 17 and December 18 respectively.
At the time being, no such information is available from PlayStation Asia side although I believe it shouldn’t take them long to release the popular game available for our region as well. The announcement also include a brief mention on Minecraft for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita which are apparently in development right now.
However, the announcement stated that Mojang have yet to lock any release date for either of the version although it did pointed out that both versions will most probably out in the market next year. Interesting indeed.
