While two retailers so far (with more definitely to come) have revealed that the new Apple iPad Air will be made available at their stores later today, both of them didn’t reveal the actual pricing for the new tablet. No explanations were given but we believe it is due to the fact that Apple Malaysia’s online store have yet to reveal the pricing themselves.
However, we have managed to learn the retail pricing for the 4G version of the tablet thanks to Maxis who have published their postpaid plans for iPad Air just a short moment ago. Apparently, the new iPad Air 4G is priced at RM 2049 for 16GB, RM 2299 for 32GB and RM 2649 for 64GB. No mention of the 128GB variant though.
As for the Maxis SurfMore plans itself, customers are able to obtain the new iPad Air through it for as low as RM 1449 for a 16GB model under the SurfMore75 plan. Here is a helpful chart to put things into perspective:
So, what do you think of the price?
