To be fair, Google Chrome has kind of had voice search for a while now. But that required you to click on the microphone icon and generally went unnoticed by most people. The new Chrome Voice Search transforms that search into something closer to Google Now.
Anyone who wants to try it out should head on to the Chrome Web Store and install the app. It’s a fun novelty to play around with; at least until Google adds the option to search from any open tab instead of just the web search.
