BlackBerry’s popular BBM messaging service for Android and iOS is out, but that doesn’t mean you’ll be able to use it straight away. After about a month of halting BlackBerry Messenger app for other platforms, the company has decided to start things up again, this time, changing how the way things work with a simple queue system to ensure a smooth roll out; before the official launch of BBM for Android and iOS, over 1.1 million active users have already started using the leaked app causing quite an issue to the BBM team.
So how do you get BBM on your device? Visit BBM.com on the browser of your Android or iPhone and install the app. Once you open it, you’ll need to key in your email address to hold the spot in line. When it’s your turn, BlackBerry will email you the details to get you started on BBM. However, good news for those who registered your interest at BBM.com, you’ll be able to start using BBM immediately without lining up and true enough, it works perfectly fine on my iPhone.
What are you waiting for? Open up the browser on your device and visit BBM.com now; you will be redirected to your respective app store to download the app.
