Calling all youths who are creative and have great interests in mobile technology and how it can change the world, DiGi wants you. DiGi has recently launched a competition for all youths aged 18 to 25 to submit ideas that use mobile technology to create social and economic change for Malaysians. Two lucky winners will stand a chance to attend the first Telenor Youth Summit in Oslo, Norway this December.
The competition has already started and will be going on until 20 October 2013. To stand a chance to win the all-expense paid trip to participate in the Summit, all you need to do is submit your ideas via DiGi’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/digi before the deadline. 10 finalists will be called for an interview with DiGi and the two winners will be selected and announced at the end of October 2013.
The Telenor Youth Summit 2013 is a global initiative by the Telenor Group, one of the world’s major mobile operators. Two delegates from ach of Telenor’s 13 business units globally, including DiGi, will gather to participate in the Summit to learn, collaborate, refine and extend the impact of their mobile internet ideas towards a better future for their countries.
Because the Summit coincides with the Nobel Peace Prize event, you will even stand a chance to meet industry experts and Nobel laureates as well as participate in the event’s activities. On top of that, the ideas emerging from the Summit will be documented and presented at the Nobel Peace Center in Oslo, during the Nobel Peace Prize event and at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in early 2014.
