Cursing Apple up, down, left and right because you just bought the third generation iPad less than a month ago? Well, don’t curse them because it looks like you might get it replaced with the fourth generation iPad for free. It’s not confirmed yet though, according to words out there, a specific Apple store in San Francisco said that they will allow those who purchased the 3rd generation iPad within the past 30 days to exchange to the new iPad (or the iPad 3S according to some since it only features slight improvements on the inside). The terms and condition would be the device must be in perfect condition with no signs of wear and tear.
Unfortunately, this is only for that specific store, whether other stores in the U.S. will offer it or not, nobody knows, not yet at least. A quick check on the Malaysian Apple store online shows that the 3rd generation iPad is out of the picture and they are only offering the iPad 2 from RM1,199. So, seriously, if you’ve just purchased an iPad 3, even at the launch about half a year ago, how do you feel about Apple’s bold move to introduce a new iPad into the market so soon?
