Aside from a major user interface overhaul, the update features a number of new Sony-unique apps and functionality. Sony Tablet S users can now directly access and view content stored on a removable full-sized SD card, making it a prime choice for viewing photos and videos that were shot on a digital camera. Frequently used functions are kept in easy reach with the new Sony-unique “Small Apps” update, an always on top launcher icon that gives instant access to Browser, Remote Control and Calculator apps while you’re using your tablet.
