Thanks to Samsung, your whole house can soon become connected and smart. The company showed off its WF457 washer and dryer during CES, both equipped with an 8” touchscreen and are Wi-Fi enabled so you can control them using your smartphone or tablet via the SmartHome app from Samsung. You can set the cycle, duration and even have the machines ping your gadget once it’s done.
Alright, so maybe they’re not that smart – if they were smart they would fold up my dried clothes – but from the text, it sounds great. I can picture myself controlling my laundry from the office right now; it’s not like I can transfer clothes from the washer to the dryer, but at least I can set them to start doing their job when I’m on my way home and find them done by the time I reach.
Both machines won’t be available yet but I sure do hope Samsung bring them to Malaysia once they’re done.
