Earlier this week, we heard wind that the popular first-person shooter, Battlefield: Bad Company might be getting aTV series spinoff (and, judging by this tweet, it might even be real!). Now, another franchise might be getting its big-screen debut.
The “Gears of War” movie project might be revived, and plans are afoot for the agency which reportedly represents game developers Epic Games to meet the producers for the movie adaptation, which was put aside by New Line to focus on “The Hobbit” trilogy.
Rumours of the movie adaptation has been around since 2008, when the director of “Live Free or Die Hard” director Len Wiseman was reportedly roped in for the project, before dropping out in 2010.
