Rockstar Games previously said that it is opening up Grand Theft Auto VI for pre-orders on 25 June. As promised, the game is now listed on the online PlayStation Store (and not on Steam, for anyone still holding out hope), with the price of the game in tow. And the game, in its base Standard Edition, has an asking price of RM339.
As you’d expect, pre-ordering Grand Theft Auto VI digitally nets you quite a few bonuses, one of which is the in-game Vintage Vice City Pack. This gives you a few cosmetics such as outfits and hairstyles for both Jason and Lucia, a vehicle and personal garage, as well as a weapon wrap pattern that is essentially a callback to the original Vice City protagonist, Tommy Vercetti. Rockstar Games says that “all items will be available to Jason and Lucia as their story progresses”, though the weapon pattern is noted to be exclusive
Another pre-order bonus is a free month of GTA Plus. For the unfamiliar, this is the subscription add-on for GTA Online, which gives you a chunk of online in-game currency, some exclusive freebies and discounts, as well as a “rotating selection of classic Rockstar Games titles and other featured games in the GTA+ Games Library”, according to the publisher.
Then there’s the Ultimate Edition of Grand Theft Auto VI, which is priced at RM419. Pre-ordering this gives you the two freebies mentioned above, but it being the Ultimate Edition upgrade gives it a slew of additional bonuses. These range from even more cosmetics for Jason and Lucia to special versions of vehicles. Also, these are explicitly mentioned to be exclusive, so they are unlikely to be obtainable by progression.

For those looking to get the physical edition of the game, there’s some bad news. Rockstar Games says that, at least for our market, that you’ll find a code to redeem the digital download in the box, rather than a disc.
