Apple has announced a new subscription bundle tailored for content creation. Dubbed the Apple Creator Studio, the collection comprises a suite of creative apps, including Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Motion, Compressor, and MainStage. The apps themselves also get some new features, some of which are powered by AI.
Among the latest additions to Final Cut Pro are transcript and visual search tools, as well as a beat detection capability. The iPad version of the app also gets a “Montage Maker” that stitches together a dynamic video based on existing footage.
Meanwhile, Logic Pro introduces a Synth Player to its AI Session Player. Additionally, the new Chord ID feature turns any audio or MIDI recording into a chord progression to speed up the creation process. On Mac, users gain access to a sound library with pre-made packs featuring royalty-free audio. Other than that, Apple is bringing Quick Swipe Comping to the iPad version.
For image editing, the Pixelmator Pro gets a Warp tool. More importantly, though, the software is coming to the iPad. This version of the app will come with the same capabilities in a touch-optimised workspace. It will also support the Apple Pencil and allow users to work between Mac and iPad.
In addition to these apps, subscribers will have access to premium tools for Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and later Freeform. A dedicated content hub serves as a library for high quality images. Beyond that, the subscription offers premium templates and themes. Other perks include access to beta features in Keynote, plus advanced AI-powered tools.
Of course, the free versions of Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and Freeform will not be going away. As for the other apps in the bundle, users can still get the one-time-purchase versions.
With all this in mind, Apple Creator Studio will be available from 29 January 2026 for RM29.90 per month, or RM299 per year. All new subscribers will get a one-month free trial. Meanwhile, those purchasing a new Mac or eligible iPad are entitled to three months of the service for free. Aside from that, college students and educators will be able to subscribe to Apple Creator Studio for a cheaper RM9.90 per month, or RM99 per year.
