Memory maker SanDisk has recently launched its newest product, the Extreme Fit USB-C Flash Drive. What’s notable about the device is that it is currently the world’s smallest 1TB flash drive,as the company says. The drive measures only 18.5 × 15.7 × 13.6 mm and weighs a mere 3g.

The compact design allows it to easily plug into a laptop or tablet without any significant protrusions. According to the company, the flash drive is meant to fit snugly into the USB-C port. Apparently, it can stay attached to devices even when they are moved or carried in a bag.

Despite its tiny size, SanDisk promises not only massive storage, but rapid file transfers as well. The drive supports the USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface, allowing for speeds of up to 400MB/s. The company does note that this only applies for the models with capacities from 128GB to 1TB. Yes, the drive is also offered with 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB capacities as well.

Beyond that, the drive is compatible with devices running Windows 10 and above, macOS 12 and later, and iPadOS 15 and its newer versions. In addition to this, SanDisk has included support for its Memory Zone app for Windows and Mac devices, allowing users to manage and back up files.
