Anker’s audio-focused subsidiary Soundcore has announced a addition to its catalogue called the R60i NC. Succeeding the R50i NC from last year, this is perhaps a more meaningful upgrade than between the two prior generations. It’s also among the cheapest options out there of you want TWS buds with LDAC codec support.
Comparing directly with what came before, the most immediate improvement with the Soundcore R60i NC is, well, the ANC. Ambient noise reduction is now reduced by up to 52dB, compared to the 42dB reduction before. Driving the music to your ears are 11mm titanium-coated drivers. If you need it for videos or gaming, you also get a 50ms Low Latency Game Mode.
On battery life, the Soundcore R60i NC promises up to 10 hours of playback time, or eight with ANC on. Adding the charging case into the equation, and the numbers go up to 50 and 40 hours respectively. The company did not provide the time taken for it to charge from empty to full. Instead, it did share that 10 minutes of being plugged in gives you 3.5 hours of use.
As mentioned above, the Soundcore R60i NC features LDAC, while still keeping its asking price relatively low, at RM189. If you wait until between 10 and 12 November, then you can get it at RM159 instead. It is available via the official Anker stores on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop. These channels also offer a free Anker charging product as a limited time promo, until 31 December. Otherwise, you could also get them offline via major retailers such as All IT and IT World.
