The HONOR Magic8 series was launched in its home market in the middle of last month. The Ultra model even got leaked not too long after. But now, the company’s Malaysian arm is announcing that the Pro model is making its way to our shores. And yes, it’s very specifically the Pro that is mentioned.
Even then, the brand has only given the public the “coming soon” teaser, with little else to work with. You can register your interest, and get notified by WhatsApp or email of you feel so inclined. For what it’s worth, the company says that the HONOR Magic8 Pro is the “official mobile photography gear for popular reality show, Gegar Vaganza 2025”, a music-focused reality show by Astro.

Going over what we know of the HONOR Magic8 Pro from its Chinese launch, it sports a 6.71-inch OLED 1,256 x 2,808 120Hz display. Inside is a Qulacomm Snapdragon 8 elite Gen 5, with between 12GB and 16GB of RAM. Storage options go all the way up to 1TB. Powering the device is a 7,200 mAh battery, with 100W wired and 80W wireless charging. Though that may change has it lands on our shores due to regulations.
For imaging, the HONOR Magic8 Pro has a 50MP main + 50MP wide-angle + 200MP 3.7x optical zoom combo. In front, it has a 50MP secondary shooter. On the software side of things, it gets its own MagicOS 10 overlay.
