Earlier in the month, there was a rumour that claimed that Nothing is currently working on the Phone (3a) Lite. Now, a new Geekbench benchmark hints that the rumoured device might actually be real, Gizmochina reports.
According to the listing, the device carries the model number Nothing A001T and features a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. The benchmark also revealed that the device has 8GB of RAM and runs on Android 15.

In Gizmochina’s report, the Phone (3a) Lite managed to hit 1003 points in its single-core test and 2925 in its multi-core test. The publication notes that though this SoC may sound like an upgrade to the Nothing Phone (2a)’s Dimensity 7200 Pro, it is actually more complicated than that. When compared with one another, the 7300 is less powerful than the 7200 Pro but is more efficient. It also features a 4x Cortex-A78 CPU setup at 2.5GHz, which is marginally slower compared to the 7200 Pro’s Cortex-A715.
As a brief reminder, this phone is meant to be a lite model of an already established budget-friendly device. Though it does not necessarily surpass its predecessor in terms of performance, it does deserve to be commended for being more efficient when compared to said predecessor.

Though this information essentially confirms the Phone (3a) Lite’s existence, other details have yet to be confirmed. As a refresher, the leak claimed that the upcoming device will only have a singular configuration, which is 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and that it will be available in black and white colour options. The leak also claimed that the device might see a global release before the year ends. Naturally, it’s worth reminding that this is still not final and that any details may be subject to change unless stated otherwise.
