It has been a good while since Razer touched its webcam lineup of products after the release of its Razer Kiyo Pro webcam. Now, after a few good years, the gaming brand is finally updating its webcam series with two new additions called the Kiyo V2 and Kiyo V2 X.
Starting with the leaner Kiyo V2 X, this web cam is said to be capable of capturing 720p video at either 60- or 30fps, 1080p at 24-, 30-, 60fps, and 1440p at 60fps. It also offers an 83-degree field of view that can be altered with Razer Synapse. Unlike its Kiyo V2 counterpart, this model doesn’t have any AI features.

Moving on to the lineup’s more potent model, the Kiyo V2. For a bump in price, this webcam features a Sony STARVIS image sensor that is capable of 4K HDR video capture at 30fps. It also has a wider field of view compared to its X model at 93 degrees. Like before, this model also features an auto-focus, a privacy shutter, and an included mic.
According to its promotional video, these cameras are equipped with AI functionality. These functions include auto-framing, background control, “full image customisation”, and a suite of stream-supporting tools. There’s also the one-click image enhancement that allows you to automatically adjust exposure, white balance, and noise reduction.
It is worth noting that both webcams feature a privacy shutter, auto-focus and an included mic. Users can also plug these devices into the external camera with a USB Type-A for the Kiyo V2 X and a USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable for the Kiyo V2.

Both the Razer Kiyo V2 and Kiyo V2 X are available in Malaysia today for RM729 and RM469, respectively. You can purchase these now through the company’s online store.
