When Razer announced the BlackWidow V4 75%, it was the only keyboard with a 4,000 Hz wireless polling rate – dubbed HyperPolling – by the brand for awhile. Then came variants of the 75% keyboard, also featuring the same. Now, the company says that it’s extending the capability to more members of the BlackWidow V4 line.
That being said, don’t get too excited just yet, especially if you own the original BlackWidow V4 Pro. This is because Razer has only extended the 4,000 Hz HyperPolling to are three relatively new members of the series. So new in fact that the oldest of the lot launched back in July of this year.

Specifically, these are the BlackWidow V4 Tenkeyless HyperSpeed, the BlackWidow V4 Low-profile HyperSpeed and the BlackWidow V4 Low-profile Tenkeyless Hyperspeed. And to unlock the feature for these keyboards, you will have to install and update Razer Synapse 4 to the latest version. That and having a HyperPolling dongle handy, of course.
As for the keyboards themselves, their nature is pretty self explanatory based on their names. Though probably the more interesting one among them are the Low-profile models, which are reminiscent of the Deathstalker V2 line. But unlike those that use optical switches, these – being part of the BlackWidow series – retain mechanical switches.
