The Intel Tech Tour 2025 is currently ongoing in the US, with the chipmaker having invited a handful of media and analysts to tour its new facility in the state of Arizona. Those same invitees have also managed to post pictures of embargo dates, presumably for the upcoming Panther Lake, that suggest the mobile processor lineup will be launching early next month.
As per the sly postings by Andrew Helling on X, slides from the Intel Tech Tour point towards a 9 October reveal for Panther Lake. No further details have been divulged, likely due to the restriction put in place by Intel; it is reportedly allowing attendees to confirm their attendance, but not the specifics of the processor.
Panther Lake broke cover earlier this year, during the Embedded World 2025 exhibition. Intel is reportedly going all in with the chipset, with the hope that it will turn the tides of its fortunes. Technically speaking, it will be the first chipset in its portfolio to be based on the new 18A process, as well as feature integrated graphics cores based on the Xe3 architecture.
The timing of all this is also consistent with Intel’s product roadmap. Around this time last year, it launched Lunar Lake, and the year before that, it was Meteor Lake.
Both products marked the era of the Core Ultra series, and it is likely that Panther Lake will continue the trend.
