After much anticipation (and leaks) vivo has finally announced that it will be releasing the X300 smartphone series on 13 October 2025. The event will take place in China at 7PM, where the brand will unveil both the X300 and X300 Pro.
As mentioned in a previous report, both devices will feature the newly released Dimensity 9500 SoC. Furthermore, vivo also shared that the two devices will be running on the new Android 16-based OriginOS 6. It is worth noting that vivo will introduce the OS on 10 October.
Moving on to the rest of the details, the company has shared that the X300 will feature a 6.31-inch display and a straight 7.95mm body. On the other hand, vivo has not confirmed whether or not the Pro variant will share similar dimensions.
However, the China-based company did confirm that the Pro will come with a Satellite Edition that features 16GB RAM, 1TB UFS 4.1 four-lane storage, a 6,510mAh battery, and VS1 and V3+ chips. Additionally, GSMArena has managed to come across vivo’s benchmark video for the X300 Pro, which you can find below.
Unfortunately, at the time of writing, vivo has not shared any details regarding the X300 and X300 Pro’s camera specifications. However, if the previous reports are anything to go by, we can expect a combination of a 200MP main, a 50MP wide-angle, and a 50MP 3x telephoto, or a 50MP main, a 50MP wide-angle, and a 200MP periscope telephoto. Interestingly enough, the brand did share images of an attachable camera “2.35x teleconverter” lens that is made in collaboration with ZEISS.
Lastly, in addition to the X300 series, the company will be launching other devices including the vivo Pad5e, vivo TWS 5, and vivo Watch GT 2. Sadly, the company has not shared any extensive details about these products and we’ll likely hear more about it on 13 October.
