Back in June, OPPO released the A5i for the local market. Now, The A5i Pro has made its way here as well, joining the vanilla version as part of the brand’s budget-friendly lineup. Compared to the regular model, the Pro variant comes with a few upgrades in terms of battery and camera.
The OPPO A5i Pro sports a 6.67-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. Additionally, it comes with an IP65 rating for protection against dust and water, as well as military grade shock resistance.
For internals, the phone packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 1 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Keeping the lights on is a 6,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. As for software, the device runs on Android 15 via the brand’s ColorOS 15 skin.
On the imaging side, it sports a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor on the rear. Meanwhile, the front of the smartphone is equipped with a 5MP selfie shooter in a punch hole cutout.
The OPPO A5i Pro comes in two colours, which are Breeze Blue and Midnight Purple. Those interested in purchasing the phone can head over to the brand’s online store. The device retails for RM799, with options to pay in instalments.
